Love dad as yourself
Children across the country and around the world learn the Gospel-based Art of Loving through the Cube of Love program. Here’s how Luce Bella Camilli, 5, lives “Love one another.”
Luce Bella lives with her family in Mariapolis Luminosa, a little city of the Focolare in Hyde Park, New York. Other families live there too, and everyone tries to live with one law: mutual love.
One weekend, some people came to help rake the leaves throughout the property. Luce Bella tried to rake, but the rakes were big, and the leaves were a lot. She soon gave up.
But at dinnertime in the cafeteria, she noticed that everyone was tired, so she got up and brought a glass of water to a tired woman she was sitting next to. There was also cake for everyone, so she helped distribute the servings before eating her piece.
Then she went into the kitchen. She came out with a little bucket and began to wipe down the tables, giving her all.
