I did not want him to feel that way
Children across the country and around the world learn the Gospel-based Art of Loving through the Cube of Love program. Here’s how Jonas, a 7-year-old from Texas, tried to put into practice “love everyone.”
A boy was getting bothered by a bully at recess. And when he got so angry, he threw his hat at the bully. Then the bully tossed it into the air, and his friend caught it. The bully said, “Let’s play catch the hat,” to keep it away from the boy.
He threw it to me. And I tossed it back to the boy who it belonged to. I know this boy gets annoyed very easily. I did not want him to feel that way, because he is my friend!
