A meditation about how love generates communion
This year, members of the Focolare deepen the sixth point of the spirituality of communion, the Eucharist. We offer some thoughts and reflections of Focolare founder Chiara Lubich. They were addressed to a primarily Catholic audience, continually referring to her own Catholic roots. However, her experience can offer a deeper understanding of this central point of the Christian faith to everyone, either enriching one’s own faith journey or providing insight that fosters dialogue. In this excerpt, she addresses the fact that the Eucharist nourishes and transforms us beyond our earthly life.
