As we went to press, the results came in for the Focolare General Assembly’s election of a new president to succeed Chiara Lubich, who died March 14.
October 16 is World Food Day. Keeping our eyes focused on both the local and the global, we decided to dedicate this issue to the emergency food situation worldwide.
Our magazine continually gives us an opportunity to share joys and sufferings, as we live out that spirit of family that Chiara Lubich left us as her legacy. This month the Focolare’s General Assembly will elect its next president to succeed her.
