In 1961, Lia Brunet crossed the ocean again with Marita Sartori to set up the first Focolare household in Buenos Aires. They wanted to keep in contact and help the growth of the local Focolare communities that were developing across the region.
During the last practical rotation, a young nursing student decided to go to Fontem, Cameroon, to help at the Focolare Movement’s Mary Health of Africa Hospital located there.
